Mahasathi began in the year 1989 under the leadership of Mr. Kothwal Sheshayya Sherugar as a Proprietary Concern. The Group operates into two Business Verticals. One is refractory, engineering & maintenance contracts in steel plants and other is Real Estate Development & Constructions at Kundapur, Udupi & Mangalore.
He being an Engineering Graduate started his career in a steel plant of Jindal Group company. As a result of working as a Service Engineer in refractory industry he bagged many contracts and awards, he gained business in many folds by start of less than 10 workers reached more than 300 employees in the group.
Mahasathi Enterprises was diversified in the year 2000 into a Real estate sector. The company initiated budget homes for the public. The Mahasathi Group real estate business is a professionally managed, synonymous with value for money quality and on- time project completion. The group has completed above 1 million sq ft of development. These projects are situated in prime locations in Kundapura, Udupi and Mangalore. He started his construction career with a first project SRI VENKATRAMANA ARCADE situated at Kundapur. This project gave lot of confidence and enthusiasm in the construction field. This project was appreciated and accepted by the general public and also laid the foundation for the future projects.
With a VISION to avail housing for everyone, Mr Kothwal Sheshayya Sherugar was successful in bringing a change in a small Town like Kundapur by offering flats at an affordable price ranging between 1.5 lakhs and 3.5 lakhs for 1 BHK, 2BHK. Similar housing concept was introduced in Udupi, inspite of increase in the prices of input materials offered housing at a price range between 1.99 lakh and 3.99 lakh.
Looking to his achievements in economical projects and business promotion schemes, Mahasathi has bagged 2 awards from Jaycees and won cash awards from steel plants.
